99Damage with $5,000 video contest

99Damage has announced that it will host a video editing contest with $5,000 up for grabs.

With 99Damage Masters #3 in the in the rearview mirror, the German website has joined forces with Dailymotion and Antec for another video editing contest, which gives talented community members the chance to compete for over $5,000 in cash and hardware prizes.

Video editors have until November 22 to create a 99-second clip with frags from the Masters tournament, which saw DenDD secure the first prize of $10,000 after beating SK Gaming in the grand final.

From November 23 to December 13, public voting and a jury will determine the winner of the contest, who will get $2,500. The full prize distribution is the following:

1. $2,500 + Antec H1200 Pro
2. $1,500 + Antec P50 Window
3. $1,000 + Antec H600 Pro

All tournament demos and the official graphic files that need to be included in the video can be downloaded from 99Damage's website. In order to be deemed valid, every entry needs to comply with the following contest rules:

• One contest entry per user
• Videos have to be exactly 99 seconds long
• Videos can only feature 99Damage Masters #3 demos
• Videos must feature provided graphic assets
• Other graphics are allowed as long as they do not breach copyrights (e.g. video creator's logo)
• Videos have to be uploaded on Dailymotion
• Videos cannot breach any music copyrights. Check out the Epidemic Sounds Archive in cooperation with Dailymotion for allowed free music.
• Videos cannot breach any other law or copyright restrictions
• Winner video will be shown during 99Damage Masters #4
• The contest logo has to be fully shown at least 3 seconds
